Andrea, one of the agents at CS+Co. asked me to come by one of her listings to photograph a celebration of a home sold. I obliged of course. I got to meet her client, Dawn Wilson, who is a professional ballerina – I know, right? She’s traveled the land and has done performances for 20 or so years. It’s not everyday you get to meet an genuine ballerina! Color me impressed. After photos, we settled in her cottage style house and talked life and girl stuff over a glass of Moscato. Congratulations to Dawn on selling her home and to Andrea for making the deal happen! I get to meet some of the most fabulous people in the land!

Nicole won a Glamour Session last month and we opted for a metal shed session. A choice gone right I would say. Nicole is a Mom to two little ones and came prepared to show off her post baby body and deliver good face! Thanks so much for your flexibility! She’s an all American beauty! Rangel_12.JPG

I wouldn’t call myself a kids photographer, but I do have kids. When stepping behind the camera to snap some memories, I’ve aways tried to be really quick!

Rule of thumb with kids – Make your mini session really quick. Five to seven minutes or less. Here’s what I got in that window! I may not have 100′s of photos to choose from, but there’s always next week, right? The quicker, the better!

Also, give them props of their favorite toys or ask them to do something FUN! Noah just finished sipping his capri sun and he delivered on the hero poses! I did have to offer the juice drink to get a compliant fellow for the session, but I think it was worth it!

In some cases, it’s just great to snap them while they play. I did stage Sophie’s area in the kitchen and also cleared away background and foreground noise and clutter.

Have some fun today! – Liz

Go RANGERS!! Meet the Abt family! Devout Rangers fans and a really connected group of people. Besides their shared passion of Rangers baseball, they sure do know how to have fun together! We met up at one of my favorite getaways, White Rock Boat Club at White Rock Lake to capture their family photos. I certainly enjoyed my time with them and hope to see them again! Here are some of my favorites.. – Liz

Sarah is an artist.  Her art spans from colored pencils on paper to dolling up her own face in dramatic fashion. She strums guitar and sings too.  What doesn’t she do?  According to her Mom – help around the house!  Haha!  Just kidding!  Sarah is my youngest cousin from Louisiana.  She was in town for a family wedding and before she darted back to Cajun country, we hit the Dallas scene at a local fill-up station for a quick sesh!

Enjoy – Jouir!

The Gokals are another fabulous family that live in the Dallas area.  We decided to meet at Klyde Warren Park for some of that downtown energy.  Little did I know that the energy came from a cute family of three.  This couple is also dear friends with a couple I just recently photographed as well, the Bhaktas.  Enjoy the photos below.  Thanks so much to your whole family.  I enjoyed peeking into your world.

Meet the Bhaktas.  I asked him if he was a good driver and he replied, “Yes.”  And he was.  We started at Lakeside Park in University Park and since our session went by really fast, because they were super easy to photograph and their little girl was simply adorable, we headed to the new Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas.  My new fave place.  See the lovely Bhakta family photos below.  You guys were fun and awesome!
